Jacques Bermon Webster II (born on April 30, 1991) more popularly known as his stage name Travis Scott (formerly stylized as Travi$ Scott), is a popular American musician, rapper, songwriter, and record producer. The stage name he uses is the name of a loved uncle and is also the first name of Kid Cudi, his inspiration (whose real name was Scott Mescudi). In 2012, Scott signed his first major label contract with Epic Records. He also signed a publishing agreement for GOOD Music with Kanye West. He signed a joint recording agreement with Epic and T.I. T.I.'s Grand Hustle imprint. Scott's first project that was full-length the mixtape Owl Pharaoh, was self-released in the year 2013. The mixtape was followed by Days Before Rodeo in 2014. His debut studio album, Rodeo (2015), was accompanied by the smash single "Antidote". His second album entitled Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) was his first top-ranked album on the Billboard 200. Scott released his second album with Quavo, Huncho Jack Huncho (2016). The album is the third album he had recorded with Astroworld. He also released his first Billboard Hot 100 #1 single, "Sicko Mode" which included Drake. Scott's Cactus Jack Records release the compilation album JackBoys in the second quarter of 2019. The album debuted at the top of the Billboard 200. After the release of his single "Franchise" (featuring Young Thug and M.I.A.) Scott became the Hot 100's first artist to have three singles reach number 1 in less that one year in 2020.
